The asteroid field offers little in the ways of a safe haven as the hazards of collision constantly plague us. Though we took many losses in the initial attack we still maintain a strong strike force. The survivors are shaken but immediately go to work on the emergency repairs as we try to evade enemy patrols. Overall moral is at an all time low and it doesn't help that we're forced to work in double, sometimes triple shifts. I cannot remember the last time I was able to sleep and I wonder if any of our forces made it to the surface?

In the Dead of the Night
As we traveled through the night, an attack rang out from the path behind us. Missiles pounded into the read of the mobile forward operating base.

Journal Entry 2 - A Desperate Retreat
After the remaining dropships broke atmosphere our warship made it's way to the backside of the moon. I rallied our remaining fighters for a counter attack to buy our ship precious time. The enemy must not have expected that as we tore through their main line and launched a full out assault on their main warships. One of the ships was clearly Clan, the other was sporting the emblem of a tree without leaves and looked suspiciously Lyran by design.

Journal Entry 1 - Surprised Attack
Everything was going according to plan. Our ship successfully completed it's jump close in proximity to Sigma 17, just behind the moon. Being Lyran Guard my crew and I were anxious to assault the world under clan control. As we were about to be briefed the ship approached a geostationary orbit over our target in preparation for 'Operation Hammer Fall'.

BattleTech- Military History
Having shown promise in his days at the military academy, Wilhelms transition into the military went well. Despite his inexperience he quickly made a bit of a name for himself in his training unit and was bumped into the 4th Lyran Regulars for the remainder of his training period. The obvious intention was that the 4th wanted him as a frontline soldier, well suited for his sometimes cocky attitude.

BattleTech Day 9
Field report day 9:
Sgt. Wilhelm Eich, 11th Lyran Guard, reporting.
A pair of scouts brought us a black box from an aerospace fighter. We sent the technician to repair it. He worked on it and found a command lockout. The doctor put in her codes and the device started smoking like crazy. The technician then threatened to kill the CO several times, then also threatened myself.
