Game-A-Week: Dark Heresy

The first in a growing series of games based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This was originally released by Games Workshop's own Black Library, but after instantly selling out and rave reviews, Games Workshop closed their RPG development studio and sold off the game rights.

The game itself is pretty easy to get into. There are classes, but each player in the class will grow differently and get different skills. So while you are limited to restrictive classes, you still have some freedom in the way you go about it.
The game is fun and combat is deadly, so players are ill advised to jump into combat without thinking about the situation at hand. One notable situation I ran into running the game, was after being caught breaking into a warehouse, the players managed to talk themselves out of a gun fight, only to have another player start shooting again and almost got the group killed.
