Darth Mendo is a bit of the joker card. As the jester, he's both hated and loved.
Mendo is a Nagai whose skin has turned a slight shade of red with black streaks. His success comes from his attempts to entertain himself. He'll do whatever he feels like, but still tries to keep his word. Fortunately his ship has been built up and the crew trained to be the best of the mechanics in the galaxy. This keeps his business running and his people working. This allows him to maintain his antics while still remaining in favor for anyone that might need him in the future.
