Game-A-Week: Street Fighter

No, not the video game. While I have been known to play a mean Street Fighter vs X-Men in my day, this is about the RPG. I have an unhealthy fascination with letting players duke it out whenever they have a disagreement. This game allows a safe and easy way to settle the who's tougher disputes.

Street Fighter (Modern)- Same system as World of Darkness. Allows for friendly fights between players as well as NPCs. Based on the video games of the same name as well as the stories behind the characters.
Campaign: Obviously the game will involve competition fighting of several varieties. It will also involve a bit of espionage and covert ops as the players deal with the likes of Shadoloo.

Steet Fighter is made to play much like the video game, involving arena fights with punches, kicks and special moves. Fortunately even the punches are sorted out into jabs, haymakers, uppercuts and everything like that. Initiative is adjusted based on the move you're using as well as your stats. The dice rolls are the same as every other White Wolf system game.
Overall, I like that game, it's just different and hard to adjust to with how the fighting works.
